Fantasy Sports League Team Building: Points Rules, Value per Price, Budget-Constrained Squads, Captain Picks & Transfer Planning

Build a stronger fantasy team with numbers rather than hunches. You will turn a fictional points system into expected points, rank players by value per price, build a squad that fits the budget and position limits, choose captains, plan transfers including points penalties and review a season's decisions, with every cell checked as you go.

About this course

In this course you build a fantasy team in a spreadsheet instead of by gut feeling. You turn match stats into points with a position-based scoring table and SUMPRODUCT, weight recent form and fixture difficulty into expected points, and rank players by points per credit across the pool and within each position. You check a squad against the budget and position limits, make greedy picks with MAXIFS, compare captains by expected points and spread, value bench players with start chances, and work out when a penalised transfer breaks even. A season review with a cumulative chart closes the course. All leagues and players are fictional – no betting, no prize money.
