About this course
In this course you work through the numbers of a fictional aircraft lessor step by step. You turn aircraft values into monthly rents with lease rate factors and an age curve, add up flight hours and cycles from utilisation reports with SUMIFS, and escalate maintenance reserve rates per flight hour, cycle and month. You pay shop visits from the reserve accounts with MIN and MAX, settle half-life return conditions in both directions and project residual values on straight-line and declining curves. Finally you compare a sale-and-leaseback with a direct order through IRR and NPV and review lessee concentration, remaining lease term and age with SUMPRODUCT and a chart.
