About this course

In this course you plan a fictional flat in a spreadsheet, one design decision per lab. You calculate room areas and free floor space, check walkways and seating gaps with XLOOKUP and three-level IFS flags and work out a viewing distance. You pick the largest standard rug that fits with an approximate XLOOKUP, turn track widths into curtain fabric with a fullness ratio and pattern repeat, and order wallpaper rolls by counting strips instead of square metres. Then you measure a kitchen work triangle from coordinates with SQRT, find nail heights and equal gaps for a gallery wall, and total a room budget with SUMIFS and WORKDAY delivery dates.
