About this course
In this course you do sewing and quilting maths in a spreadsheet, using fictional quilts, customers and a fictional size chart. You turn blocks, sashing and borders into a finished quilt size and work backwards from a target width. You add seam allowances and triangle add-ons by lookup, count pieces per strip with INT, strips with ROUNDUP and yards in 1/8 steps with CEILING. You plan binding from the perimeter and compare two backing layouts. For garments you pick sizes with an approximate XLOOKUP, add ease, grade between sizes by interpolation and draft circle skirts with PI, then match a shopping list against your fabric stash with SUMIFS.
