About this course
In this course you plan the projects of a fictional embroidery guild, one spreadsheet lab at a time. You turn a chart's stitch count and the fabric count into a finished size, including evenweave stitched over two, add margins to find the fabric to cut and fit pieces into a length of fabric. You resize one chart on several counts, pick the count for a target size, estimate floss in metres and whole skeins, count symbols on a chart grid, choose hoop sizes from the design diagonal, plan finish dates from stitching speed and build a stash-based shopping list and a project cost chart.
