Resin Casting Math: Mould Volumes, Mix Ratios by Weight & Volume, Batch Sizes, Pour Layers, Pigment Shares and Cost per Piece
Mix exactly what your moulds need. You will measure mould volumes, convert them to mass with fictional densities, split batches by weight or volume ratios, plan layers within a fictional label's limits, add pigment and inclusion shares, track waste and price your pieces, with every cell checked as you go.

About this course
In this course you plan the numbers of a fictional home resin studio, one spreadsheet lab at a time. You measure box and round moulds and shaped moulds with a water test, turn ml into grams with fictional densities and split batches into part A and part B by weight or by volume. You check a weighed mix against the label, plan batches with an overage and a cup limit, count pours under a maximum layer and schedule pours with date-times. Then you subtract the volume of inclusions, weigh pigment as a share of the resin, measure waste and price every piece with a share of the mould and your time.
