About this course

In this course you run a fictional independent repair workshop in a spreadsheet. You price job cards on quoted hours with parts and consumables and measure the overrun by job type with SUMIFS. You turn attended, clocked and sold hours into productivity, efficiency and the overall rate, then compare booked with available bay hours and highlight bottleneck days. You calculate the effective labour rate, price parts with an XLOOKUP markup matrix and turn markup into margin. You cost comebacks, plan the autumn tyre rush and rack storage, and finish with break-even sold hours and the profit of adding one technician.
