About this course

This course follows a fictional removals company through the numbers behind every move. You turn a home survey into cubic metres with a volume table and XLOOKUP, work out how many van loads a move needs and how full the vans are, plan crew hours from fictional loading rates with a minimum paid time, and price the same moves by volume, by the hour and as a fixed price with a distance surcharge. You cost packing materials and the packing service, fill storage containers, measure claims per 100 moves, cost subcontracted crews on peak days and finish with contribution, utilisation and a chart.
