About this course

A store traffic and conversion analytics course that turns the door-counter data of one fictional outdoor-clothing chain with six stores into store decisions in a spreadsheet, for store and area managers, retail analysts and retail management students. You build an average-visitors table by hour and day with AVERAGEIFS and find the Saturday peak, clean door counts into visitors and calculate the conversion rate per store and for the chain, calculate average transaction value, units per transaction and average unit retail, split a sales drop exactly into traffic, conversion and ATV effects, measure visitors per staff member against conversion with CORREL, set a top-quartile conversion benchmark and size each store's sales opportunity, compare rainy days and a street festival like with like and complete a monthly store dashboard with red flags. Illustrative figures. The first lab is free.
