Tennis Match Statistics: Serve & Return Points, Break Points, Point-Win Probabilities, Game & Set Win Chances and Match Reports
Read a tennis match through its numbers. You will build first- and second-serve statistics from a point-by-point log, compare serve and return points won, analyse break points and pressure points, turn point-win chances into game, tie-break and set win probabilities and write a match report for your own club matches, with every cell checked as you go.

About this course
This course turns a tennis point log into clear spreadsheet numbers. You build game keys and point shares from a point-by-point log, calculate first serve in %, points won on first and second serve and double faults with COUNTIFS and SUMIFS, and compare return points won, break rates and a dominance ratio. You analyse break points saved and converted, turn a point-win chance into the chance of holding serve with POWER, look up set chances in a fictional table and work out best-of-three match chances. Finally you sort rallies into length bands, compare winners with unforced errors and build a season report with a trend line. Fictional players – no betting, no gambling.
