About this course
A Six Sigma course that works through the quality statistics of one valve manufacturer at Green Belt level, in a spreadsheet that checks every cell. You measure defects per unit, DPMO and first-pass yield, uncover the hidden factory with rolled throughput yield and convert yields into sigma levels with NORM.S.INV and the 1.5 shift, rank defects in a Pareto chart, judge whether a bore meets its tolerance with Cp, Cpk, Pp and Ppk, set X-bar and R chart limits with the A2, D3 and D4 constants, build a p-chart with a different sample size every day, test the gauge with a simplified gage R&R and prove a scrap reduction with T.TEST before putting a dollar value on the cost of poor quality. The certificate is not an official belt certification, and Tabellab has no affiliation with ASQ or IASSC. The first lab is free.
