About this course
This course turns everyday Windows users into confident power users. You start with a light mental model of the NT kernel, the registry, services and drive letters, then learn to read real paths in File Explorer and show hidden files and extensions. You move around and manage files in the Command Prompt, take your first steps in PowerShell with verb-noun cmdlets and Get-Help, and find out whether your account is an administrator and what UAC prompts protect. You install and update software with winget, inspect processes and services with Task Manager and services.msc, and diagnose your network with ipconfig, ping and netstat. A final lesson checks Defender, the firewall and Windows Update. Each lesson has a hands-on challenge with solution and a quiz, and the final exam earns the Tabellab certificate.
