About this course
Excel basics for beginners who have never used a spreadsheet, in six short labs of about ten minutes each. Following one student's money, you type your first entries and learn how cells are named, write formulas with + − × ÷ and brackets, summarise six weeks of spending with SUM, AVERAGE, MIN and MAX, copy one formula down a whole list and see why relative references make that work, turn test points into percentages and let IF decide Pass or Retry, and finish with a mini budget and your first chart. All six lessons are free, and every cell is checked as you go, so you know straight away when it is right.
