About this course
This course covers open-source intelligence as a disciplined, ethical craft for authorized security research. You learn advanced search operators and dorking to surface documents a site never meant to expose, and how to correlate a person's public footprint responsibly while respecting privacy and scope. Infrastructure lessons map an organisation's domains, DNS and forgotten subdomains through certificate-transparency logs. You practise reading images for hidden EXIF metadata and visual geolocation clues, using sample data you create yourself. Further lessons cover building a repeatable automation workflow, protecting your own footprint with investigator OPSEC, and writing a sourced report that separates fact from inference with confidence ratings. Every lesson stresses legality, data minimisation and staying in scope, and ends with a quiz; a final exam leads to a certificate.
