About this course

In this course you price a fictional tour operator's group trips in a spreadsheet, step by step. You split a cost sheet into fixed group costs and per-person costs, build the cost-per-traveller curve and find the break-even and minimum viable group. You price twin, triple and single rooms and work out the single supplement, cost foreign land services with a currency buffer and find the exchange rate where the margin disappears. You compare margin and markup, round to brochure price points with CEILING, deduct discounts and agent commission, set balance dates with EDATE, look up a fictional cancellation scale and finish with a season P&L and a chart.
