About this course
In this course you plan the housekeeping department of a fictional 120-room hotel in a spreadsheet. You turn the occupancy forecast into cleaning minutes and room credits, work out productive shift minutes and how many full and part-time attendants each day needs, and check a weekly rota against the forecast with COUNTIF and COUNTIFS. You set linen par levels and replacement budgets, compare in-house and outsourced laundry with a break-even, cost guest amenities per occupied room with wastage, measure re-clean rates and rooms per hour, and finish with a cost-per-occupied-room dashboard and a chart.
