About this course

An Excel invoice and quote template course that builds the self-calculating invoice system of one fictional print shop, for freelancers, small business owners and office staff who bill customers. You calculate line items with quantity × price, line discounts and the effective discount, look up descriptions and bulk prices from a price list and catch a mistyped SKU, work out tax per line and a tax summary per rate with the one-cent rounding difference, number invoices like BW-2026-0148 with TEXT and a counter that restarts every year, turn payment terms into due dates with WORKDAY and EDATE, carry accepted quote lines into a deposit and a final invoice, track payments and open balances with SUMIFS and finish with a customer statement and ageing summary. The first two labs are free.
