About this course
An Excel data validation course that makes the order, customer and expense templates of one fictional wholesaler error-proof, for office staff, analysts and anyone who builds templates other people fill in. You turn whole-number, decimal and date-range rules into TRUE/FALSE check formulas and count the failed checks, test regions and payment terms against allowed lists with COUNTIF and MATCH, check a dependent category-to-item drop-down and build its INDEX/MATCH list source, validate customer IDs, email shapes and name lengths with LEN, LEFT and SEARCH, block duplicate supplier invoices with COUNTIFS, check that end dates follow start dates and cost shares add up to 100%, finish an expense form with error messages and an error count and chart a completeness dashboard with a protection checklist.
