About this course

In this course you take a fictional online brand from its first supplier quotes to a first order it can afford. You turn quotes with tooling, setup and packaging into a comparable cost per unit, price order quantities from a price-break table with XLOOKUP and weigh the saving against months of stock. You cost sample rounds and plan approval dates with WORKDAY, chain a production timeline to the reorder date, look up sample sizes in a fictional inspection table and estimate faulty units. Finally you plan deposits and balances week by week, split an order between two suppliers by capacity and delay risk, and build the full unit cost and budget.
