About this course

In this course you run the numbers of a fictional one-person maker studio. You cost materials from bulk packs and count the yield per pack, add your own time and the monthly overhead, and set cost-plus, wholesale and retail prices while checking margin against markup. You compare the fee stacks of a website, a marketplace and a craft fair, work out break-even items and stock to bring for a fair, weigh wholesale against consignment and promise delivery dates with WORKDAY. Finally you plan batches, measure the order backlog and close the month with profit per product, a ranking, profit per making hour and a product-mix chart.
