Chemistry Calculations with Spreadsheets
Do the maths of general chemistry hands-on: molar mass with XLOOKUP, moles and particles, empirical formulas, limiting reagents, yields, dilutions, the ideal gas law and pH, every cell checked live. Calculations only, no lab procedures.
The first lesson is free — no account needed.
About this course
A chemistry calculations course for general chemistry students who want the maths to click. In a spreadsheet that checks every cell, you look up atomic masses with XLOOKUP and total a molar mass with SUMPRODUCT, convert between grams, moles and particles with Avogadro's constant, find percent composition and an empirical formula, solve stoichiometry problems and identify the limiting reagent, compare theoretical, actual and percent yield, prepare dilutions with C₁V₁ = C₂V₂, apply the ideal gas law PV = nRT with unit conversions and calculate pH and pOH with LOG10 up to a titration endpoint. Calculations only, no lab procedures. The first lab is free.
