About this course
Learn algebra with spreadsheets by computing it instead of only reading about it. You evaluate expressions and see where Excel's order of operations differs from the textbook, find a slope and intercept from two bills and graph the line, solve a 2×2 system with Cramer's rule, find the vertex and roots of a quadratic and count roots with the discriminant, model half-life and growth factors, solve for time with logarithms, check plans against inequalities and find a root numerically by bisection. Useful for students, teachers and adults refreshing their maths. The first two labs are free.
