About this course
This course turns a grain harvest into spreadsheet work you can check. On a fictional arable farm you convert header width, speed and field efficiency into hectares per hour and whole days in the field, turn weighed test strips into yields with averages and spread, and apply a fictional buyer contract to wet loads: water shrink above the base moisture, handling shrink and paid tonnes. You cost a dryer by the water it removes, size round bins with cylinder and cone volumes, plan trucks for each field, weigh storage, interest and shrink against later price offers and finish with a harvest dashboard and sales-plan chart.
