Beyond this lab: the same model in Excel Solver
- Solver is a free add-in (File › Options › Add-ins › Excel Add-ins › Solver Add-in). It then sits under **Data › Solver**.
- Set Objective: B10, choose Max. By Changing Variable Cells: B2:C2.
- Subject to the Constraints: add D6:D8 <= F6:F8 (one line handles all three).
- Tick Make Unconstrained Variables Non-Negative and pick Simplex LP as the solving method, then Solve. Solver changes B2:C2 to the best plan.
- The rest of this course solves the same model by hand, so you can check, explain and trust what Solver returns.
