A staffing agency economics course that runs one fictional temp and permanent staffing agency, Pellham Staffing, in a spreadsheet, for staffing owners and branch managers, recruiters, finance staff and business students. You add the employer burden to each temp's pay rate and mark it up to a bill rate, convert markups into margins and back and price a bill rate from a target margin, calculate gross profit per hour and per assignment, work out permanent placement fees and the refund on the guarantee scale, measure each recruiter's funnel from submittals to placements, track fill rate and time to fill in a combo chart, rank clients by gross margin, and find the peak funding need of paying temps weekly while clients pay after 45 days.
