About this course

This course explains how WiFi authentication really works and where it breaks. You see why a WPA2 passphrase never travels over the air, how the handshake and the PMKID value are built from the passphrase and the SSID, and why a recorded proof can be guessed offline with no rate limiting. Using short Python snippets on your own invented values, you compute a PMKID and watch a weak passphrase fall while a long random one does not. You then learn the defences that matter: long random keys, WPA3 SAE, enterprise authentication, network segmentation, and detecting deauthentication floods and rogue access points. Every exercise runs on your own computer and your own network, for legal, authorized learning only.
