About this course

A penetration test is only as useful as the report that comes out of it, and this course teaches you to write one that gets fixes made. You begin with the engagement lifecycle and Rules of Engagement, then score findings consistently with CVSS 3.1 and the likelihood-times-impact lens. You gather undeniable evidence with clear reproduction steps and a chain of custody, and separate technical impact from business impact using the CIA triad. You write remediation that is specific and prioritised, with short-term mitigation and long-term fixes referencing OWASP and CWE. A full lesson covers report structure, from executive summary to detailed findings, and a capstone has you write a complete finding end to end. Each lesson includes a challenge and a quiz, with a final exam and certificate.
