About this course
This course turns the Linux command line into a confident everyday tool for defenders, administrators and authorized testers. You start with the shell and the single filesystem tree, then learn permissions and ownership, processes and signals, text pipelines, and bash scripting for automation. From there you move into networking from the terminal, SSH keys and port forwarding, package tools, storage and mounts, systemd services and cron scheduling. The final lessons cover the permission attack surface: SUID binaries, systematic enumeration, privilege escalation through misconfiguration, and the kernel boundary, always on your own isolated virtual machine and for legal use only. Every lesson has a worked challenge and a quick check, with a final exam toward the Tabellab certificate.
