Office Space & Hybrid Work: Desk Utilisation, Space per Person & Cost
Turn badge swipes and desk bookings into the numbers a workplace team needs: attendance, desk utilisation and no-shows, desks needed and sharing ratio, space and cost per desk, meeting-room fit and a floor-consolidation case, every cell checked as you go.

About this course
An office space utilisation course that turns badge swipes, desk bookings and sensor data from the hybrid office of one fictional 400-person company into decisions, for workplace managers, facilities and real estate teams and HR analysts. You calculate daily attendance, the average and peak day and the peak-to-average ratio, compare desk bookings with actual use and measure no-shows, size the desk estate from each department's peak plus a buffer and work out the desk-sharing ratio, measure space per desk and per employee against a density target, express occupancy cost per desk, per employee and per attended day, find oversized meeting rooms from bookings and sensor data, test whether releasing a floor still fits the peak and pays back, and chart the weekday pattern for the leadership team. The first lab is free.
