Nonprofit Impact Measurement: Indicators, Outcomes, Cost per Outcome & SROI
Measure the results of a fictional youth-employment charity like an evaluator: reach and completion, indicator progress from baseline to target, matched pre/post change, survey weighting and margins of error, net outcomes after deadweight and attribution, cost per outcome, SROI with drop-off and discounting, and a board dashboard, with every cell checked as you go.

About this course
In this course you build the impact workbook of a fictional youth-employment charity, one checked formula at a time. You start with outputs: completion rates pooled across sites and unduplicated reach. You measure indicators against baseline and target, including indicators that should go down, and give each a traffic-light status with IFS. You compare matched pre/post scores, weight a follow-up survey for non-response and calculate its margin of error and the sample size the next survey needs. Then you turn gross outcomes into net outcomes after deadweight, displacement and attribution, compare cost per participant with cost per net job, value five years of outcomes with drop-off and discounting into an SROI ratio and finish with a board dashboard.
