Compute filing deadlines and limitation dates the way docketing teams do: calendar vs court days, holiday tables, next-court-day roll-forward, extra days for postal service, EDATE limitation periods, tolling, a traffic-light docket and a month calendar, with every cell checked as you go.

About this course
In eight hands-on spreadsheet labs you work as the docketing team of a fictional law firm under simplified, invented court rules. You count deadlines in calendar days and court days with WORKDAY, WORKDAY.INTL and a court-holiday table, move deadlines that land on weekends or holidays to the next court day, add extra days by service method from a lookup table and work backwards to the latest posting date. You start limitation periods on the later of incident and discovery with EDATE, apply a long-stop, add tolled pauses with SUMPRODUCT, and finish with a traffic-light docket, a personal list per lawyer and a month calendar view.
