About this course
This course follows a fictional home-coffee enthusiast through his brew bar in eight spreadsheet labs. You turn brew ratios into brew water and beverage weights and size a dose for any mug, calculate extraction yield from TDS readings and flag brews against a target box, and dial in espresso with ratios, flow rates and averages per grind setting. You dilute cold-brew concentrate and iced coffee with C1V1 = C2V2, mix brewing water from fictional mineral concentrates, plan tea leaf, steep times and water temperature, track roast dates and stock, and compare home and café cost per cup with a payback chart. Every cell is checked as you go.
