About this course

In this course you learn finance from a manager's seat, with every cell checked. You read a business unit's P&L with SUMIFS: revenue, gross margin, EBIT and the costs you really control. You phase an annual budget, compare it with the actuals, flag unfavourable lines and flex the budget to the real volume. You cost a team with employer load, benefits and part-year hires, and see next year's run-rate. Then you separate profit from cash with payment days, DSO and DPO, judge a small investment with payback, NPV and IRR, price a discount and a target margin, and build a monthly pack with a year-end forecast, traffic lights and a chart.
