About this course
In this course you work through the spreadsheets of a fictional 10 MW electrolysis project. You convert kilograms of hydrogen into kWh on the LHV and HHV basis and into normal cubic metres, compare electrolyser offers by output, efficiency and water use, and let the plant run only in cheap hours with IF, COUNTIFS and AVERAGEIFS. You multiply efficiency chains, size compressed storage with the gas law and ROUNDUP, build the levelised cost per kilogram with PMT and a sensitivity table, work out hydrogen per tonne of ammonia, methanol and e-methane, and finish with CO2 avoided, abatement cost and a chart.
