About this course
A cash handling and till math course for cashiers, bank tellers, shift supervisors and store managers, built on the registers of one fictional neighbourhood market. You count a till note by note and coin by coin with a single SUMPRODUCT, work out the expected cash from the starting float and flag tills over the drawer limit, split change for a $100 note into the fewest notes and coins with INT and MOD, reconcile cash and card sales with cashback and find the sale that never reached the terminal batch, calculate over/short per shift against a tolerance, prepare the bank deposit slip with currency, coin and cheques, rebuild tomorrow's floats and order coin in straps and rolls and chart the over/short trend with a 5-day average. Practice examples only, always follow your employer's cash policy. The first two labs are free.
