About this course
A procurement and spend analytics course built on one food manufacturer's purchasing data. You turn purchase-order lines into a spend cube by category and supplier with SUMIFS, rank suppliers in a Pareto chart and size the tail spend, calculate the purchase price variance against standard cost and split savings into hard cost reduction and cost avoidance, score six suppliers on normalised KPIs with SUMPRODUCT, rebuild a part's should-cost from materials, labour, machine time, overhead and margin, compare three suppliers on total cost of ownership, flag off-contract invoices with XLOOKUP to measure maverick spend and evaluate a tender with price normalisation and a 40/60 price-quality weighting. For buyers, category managers and procurement analysts. The first lab is free.
