You will build a catalogue with condition grades and value multipliers, track set completion and duplicates, compare catalogue values with fictional auction results after fees, set insurance values, follow the collection's value with a simple index and plan a budget for missing pieces, with every cell checked as you go.

About this course
In this course you run the numbers of a fictional collector of coins, stamps and railway cards, one spreadsheet lab at a time. You summarise a catalogue by series with COUNTIFS, SUMIFS and MINIFS, value every item with a fictional grade scale and XLOOKUP, and measure how complete a set is and which design is missing first. You count spare copies for a fair swap, turn hammer prices into what the buyer pays and the seller receives after fictional fees, and set replacement values and a premium with a minimum. Then you track the collection's value with a base-100 index and average growth, and plan the cost and months needed to complete every set.
