About this course

In this course you turn a raw bank export of a fictional pottery studio into categorised bookkeeping lines. You split each description into type code, reference and vendor text with LEFT and MID and prove the export is complete against the statement balance. You build a keyword rule table with IFERROR(FIND(…)), resolve lines that match several rules with priorities and MINIFS, and put a vendor map with XLOOKUP and IFNA in front of the rules. IFS rules sort transfers, refunds, income and small fees, ROUND splits one payment into several categories with a remainder line, COUNTIFS and EOMONTH find recurring payments, and SUMIFS builds the month summary with a chart.
